After Park Guell, we could not resist biking past the beach again on our way to Montjuïc.

Ugh. I want to be here now.

Montjuic is the home of the 1992 Summer Olympics stadium, the National Art Museum of Catalonia, and the Montjuïc Communications Tower

After the second whole day of biking, the upward climb up to this hill (which wasn’t even that steep) was starting to be a little painful.

The Palau Nacional

Olympics man!

The Olympic Stadium (Estadi Olimpic de Montjuic)

I sound like a broken record but again, the climb to Montjuic? So worth it.
And while I’m at it…beautiful beautiful beautiful.

I guess the moral of the story is…visit Barcelona. It’s breathtaking.

My friend Christian (on the right) went to the momentous futbol game where Messi scored an ungodly (or perhaps very soccer godly?) number of goals.

I had yet to buy a souvenir from all of my Spain travels, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and get a Messi jersey with my expert haggling skills. Yep, not ashamed to admit that I’m a bandwagoner. I’m actually pretty proud to own a real jersey for the first (and probably last) time in my life! And since it’ll probably be the only jersey I’ll ever own, I’m glad it’s a sweet jersey from Spain.
