I’m Bianca. I’m a college senior, baker, blogger, future doctor, and dreamer.

I’m not sure where my baking obsession came from, but nothing makes me happier than being elbow deep in flour and sugar, and sharing my creations with those I love. I am addicted to food blogs with gorgeous pictures and beautifully crafted desserts that I happen to find wherever I wander. In my mind, one of the simplest pleasures is the joy derived from taking a blissful bite of  sugary, creamy, gooey, sinful sweetness. If you’re my friend, chances are you’ve already stumbled down a dangerously delicious path of never ending baked goods.

I’m afraid to limit this blog to solely baking, because there is so much more to both me and the world. I’m looking forward to sharing snippets of my personal life, inspiration that I encounter, and things that strike my fancy.

I recently studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland, and I had the time of my life exploring incredible new places and opening my eyes to a whole new world. Every second, I found myself continually amazed at the wonders surrounding me, and I am to have had this opportunity to be able to witness them.

I love pretty sunsets, long drives in my car, and stopping in every bakery I pass for inspiration. My weaknesses are dark chocolate & black coffee, both separate and together. I enjoy grammar a little too much (#nerdstatus). I’m drawn to bright happy colors, rich jewel tones, lace, and florals. I’m a sucker for handwritten mail and notes, and I’m big on birthdays, mostly because it’s an extra excuse to bake someone something yummy and make their day awesome. Starbucks skinny vanilla lattes would run through my bloodstream if i didn’t actively curb my addiction. I make lists like it’s my job. I love my at40, pop, alternative, and the occasional country…but my true love is classical piano, especially Beethoven and Chopin. If you want to win my heart–go for puns and acoustic and I’m yours. Also, I have an unhealthy obsession with Whole Foods, Wegmans, and Trader Joe’s…but that’s just a typical foodie for ya.

I guess my philosophy echoes this quote–”The fastest way to being happy is to make other people happy”–whether it is by making you smile today with my blog posts, or by making your life better one day a doctor. For now I hope you find something here that makes you think, brings a moment of peace, or brightens your day.
